Hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and are still able to enjoy the holiday season! My thoughts now are going towards planning my projects for 2016 and I mean I am literally planning all the steps for the year ahead. I have already decided 2016 is going to be an amazing year! I am creating my future intentionally rather than waiting and seeing what unravels by strolling through life on auto pilot, dreaming but taking no action. 2016 is a year for taking action and living intentionally by seriously sticking to a plan.To be consistently thinking about what you want to accomplish next year. I am setting achievable goals weekly, monthly and annually that will take me closer to my desired outcome one step at a time. I am asking myself where I want to be this time next year and why. So ask yourself what it is you want to achieve and why. Knowing why you want something is the most important thing because it will keep you driven towards accomplishment. It will keep you focused and inspired and if you’re not inspired, perhaps you need to re-evaluate what exactly it is you want. If you don’t have a burning desire for something ask yourself what you do have a burning desire for. Dream big! You’ll only live this life once, so how do you really want it to look an feel? Do you want to be average and have an average life? Or do you want to be extraordinary and live an extraordinary, exciting life?! What is going to make you feel great? What is going to make you feel on top of the world? Think about that and you should find a passion from within come to the surface. My advice is not to ignore your passion but to listen to it and you will find your true purpose, you’ll meet your real self and excel in this life.

In your own journal, Write down what it is you want to achieve in great detail and why you want it, then follow by answering these questions:

  • What steps can I take within the next 7 days that will get me closer to my desired outcome? Then list your answers.
  • What steps can I take within the next 30 days that will take me closer to my desired outcome? Then again, list your answers.
  • What steps can I take within the next 6 months that will take me closer to my desired outcome? List your answers.
  • What steps can I take within the year that will get me closer to my desired outcome? List your answers.

This task will most definitely get you thinking but that’s exactly what you need to be doing. Look at what you have already around you which can support you in your mission and then look at the things you’re going to need more of or to improve on and suss out how much time each task is likely to take you in order to get to where you want to be. Plan your steps but take one step at a time. Remember WHY you are doing what you are doing and this will keep you inspired and on track.
